Removal time or lowering of your SM to an ASM is upon you
and certainly changes should be in order.

Two resources to read are the Troop Committee Guidebook as to
the expectations for a ScoutMaster, and the Unit Commissioners
Fieldbook for Unit Service on Removing a Leader.

However you proceed attempt to be considerate that the SM is
a person that has made a serious mistake for reasons he thought
were good ones. Leaders with faults are part of life.

Some Action Items
1>Tell the SM you are proceeding with having this situation
or him changed from the SM position he has held
2>Tell the CC the same
3>Talk to Your Unit Commissioner
4>Talk to your Chartering Organizational Head
5>Talk to your District Commissioner
6>Talk to your District Executive

and proceed to Go on up the ladder, first trying to keep the item
contained within your own scout community and then proceeding.
It is not fun to seeming turn on your friends but a Scout is Brave.

7>You can always move to another troop and may have to after
the situation is on a path of rectification. Sorry about that.

YiS, IMHO, and may we each attempt to live the SO,SL,SS,SM
