Missed meeting

Hello, Everyone! We're John & Sonia Lingsweiler, Den Leader &
Assistant for a Wolf Den in Texas. Sonia was a Tiger Den leader last
year, and I'm new to scouting. (I've finally gotten over the belief
that you can't be a leader if you weren't in Scouting as a boy!) Our
question is about boys missing meetings. We really want to keep all
of our boys involved. Tonight a scout missed a meeting and we're
wondering if we should call to see why and encourage him to be there
next week, etc. We don't want to "nag", but we want him and his
family to know we missed them.... What do you advise? Thanks for
all imput!
