Yesterday, I received the October issue of Reader's Digest (large print
edition). In the Campus Comedy section there is an illustration of a
young lady introducing her new boyfriend to an older lady, probably her
Mom. The drawing shows a young man with a pony tail and an earring
sitting on a sofa next to the young lady. The couple is holding hands.
The young lady is saying, "Marc and I met at the mall. We were buying
the same earrings." I got a good laugh out of this and thought of the
vast array of opinions recently expressed on SCOUTS-L.
