I have experienced the same type of problem in the past. To
alleviate the situation I started leaving a lantern mounted on a 20lb
bottle with neck turned on low at night when the boys are asleep. This
not only gives the boys a since of safety but will assist the troop if
someone needs to make a head call in the middle of the night. I hope
this helps.
