Hi friends, I am a cc for a small troop in New Hampshire, nearly three years,
I am scout trained , (quick start and regular) and have two children enjoying
scouting . I have recently begun a troop advertising campaign utilizing the
cable public access channel and a brochure which was distributed to the local
grammar school this effort has increased membership of both scouts and adult
committee members.
Recently after a complaint from a parent, I requested received and
implemented the BSA no smoking policy at the monthly committee meeting. On a
recent camp out adults with official standing were puffing within sight of the
scouts... after "I" left the site. Could I get some guidance as to how to
handle this.
My first thought is to pen a letter to the offenders...
yis,
