Skits and Boxes

Thanks to all who helped me with the run on Skits. Usually I thanks
everyone personally but I got very good response. If anyone wants a good
list of new Run-ons, I can help. Thanks again guys, your the best.

Getting the Scouts off the ground was important for us. We built the boxes
so they would have table space. I could see using the plastic tubs along
with a camping table and the two combined is still a lot cheaper than the
boxes. Our Troop likes boxes and is looking to add new ones. I am working
on plans for a box that would fit in the trunk of cars. We may look at
Steve's idea also but boxes designed built correctly will last many years.

A problem with car camping is the junk these guys bring. I suggested to the
SM that we backpack the Scouts in to most campouts and only haul in the
boxes and tents. His only concern is not everyone has a backpack. I would
also like to leave the boxes home on a couple of campouts so the Scouts
learn how to cook out of the Packs and become more self sufficient. Advice
from you guys experienced in this area is very much appreciated.

Our PLC will make the final decisions, so I don't know if these ideas will
fly. I asked my son (who is on the PLC) and he just laughed. I hate it when
he does that.
