Lake Havasu Weather

Help !! Our troop has a water ski, camping merit badge weekend planned for
Lake Havasu this weekend Sept 25-28. Hurricane Nora is worrying us to the
point of
canceling the trip. We have a 5 hour drive from southern CA, thru 29 palms.
If any
one on the list has first hand knowledge of the weather conditions (we've
heard of
70 mile an hour winds) could you please post me privately???
