'98 Spring Camporee

Tim Roman (romanfam@EROLS.COM)
Sun, 21 Sep 1997 13:08:39 -0400

Well, it's official. I have been asked to serve as co-chair
for our District Spring Camporee for next year in Mid-May. This
is my first time to take on such a task within the District and
I'm both excited and a bit afraid at the same time.

At this point, EVERYTHING is negotiable, except for the dates
of the Camporee. We have a couple possible locations already,
but I also hope we can look into several other possibilities.

I think one of our first items of business will be to canvas
troop leaders for our District at the next Roundtable. My hope
is that this email will solicit some ideas from this extended,
world-wide Roundtable on the internet. Feel free to send them
to me privately or to the entire list if you feel it would be
appropriate.

I'm interested in hearing about ideas on every aspect of a
Camporee, from theme, to competitions, to logistics. Let me know
what works, and probably MORE importantly, what doesn't.

Thanks much in advance to all.

YIS,

Tim Roman, romanfam@erols.com
