I think there may be some confusion between the Bobcat pin and the Bobcat
Parent's (formerly "Mother's") pins. Do they even make the pin for the boys
anymore? Anyway, I suppose you could pin on the Parent's Pin at the
ceremony, then when the cloth badge gets sewn on, the parent gets the pin
(since it is probably the parent doing the sewing :) BTW, I kept all my
son's parent's pins, since I am the one who did all the driving AND sewing !
