Ho, all--
I'd like to have my Cubs make simple film can neckerchief slides for their
next Den activity. We've got a large bag full of discarded plastic film cans
(hey, they TOLD me that I could go through the "recycling" bin behind the
Photo counter at the local drug store).
Sounds simple....heck, IS simple. Plastic film can and leather/plastic
loop. My quandaries are 1) a durable way of fastening Part A (the film can)
to Part B (the loop), and 2) the best material to use for the loop.
For #1, epoxy, rivets, staples. Right now, I'm leaning toward the staple
gun (heavy duty staples) method.
For #2, leather or vinyl seems good to me.
N/C slides are such simple projects that you'd think there'd be info on the
web. Couldn't find any.
Let me know...
