Info on the Norfolk VA area

I need the help of the wise Scouters on the list. My troop has decided
that they would like to visit/tour the Norfolk VA area, visiting the local
military bases/museums and perhaps touring the flight line/flight ops at NAS
Oceana or the ships at the Naval Base - they would love to get a tour of an
Aircraft Carrier! Staying on base/on board for an overnight would also be a
BIG plus. I know something along these lines was placed on the list a while
back, but I seem to have misplaced it. Does anyone have some good Points of
Contact that I can get in touch with? Since we will be traveling from the
Northern Virginia area and the planned trip dates are in March 98, we're
talking at least a 2 night stay.
Any info along these lines - or other interesting possibilities in the
area - would be appreciated!!
