School Night Success !!!

Hello!
School Night for Scouting is, for me, one of the most exciting Scouting
events of the year. It is exciting because of the great unknown (What if
no one shows up?). But mostly it is exciting because when they do show up,
and I see all those eager young faces, I am reminded of why I do this and
what a great program Scouting is.
Well, this year we had over 60 families attend School Night and we signed
up 14 Tigers, 19 Cubs, 12 Webelos, and 9 Den Leaders!!! We now have a
total of 106 boys registered and historically we will add about 15 more
before the end of the month.
My thanks to those of you who have either posted or privately e-mailed
suggestions on recruiting adult leaders. I tried many of your ideas and
apparently they work:-). I look forward to seeking further advice from
"the list" as I try to provide a program that will live up to the
expectations of my new Scouts.
