I think you are doing what needs to be done. Hopefully, the scout and his
parents will be able to resolve the behavior problem. However, I suggest
that you have at least one other adult leader with you when you meet with the
parents, and that you follow up the meeting with a letter confirming the
conditions of continued participation in the troop.
