Re: Akela's World Camp

You can check the website www.tesomas.com for Camp Tesomas which is the
same property as Akela's World. They do receive email - you can get info
that way as both camps work closely. I can assure you that Akela's is
one of the finest in the USA! We just returned from Camp Tesomas,
spending last week at the Scout Camp. It was outstanding. We have been
there for 22 years now and we love it. The Cub camp is run equally
well. I am sure they would be pleased to have visitors - they even took
our adults to the camp for a visit while we were at Tesomas. The Cub
operation is now ready to expand to out of council units, so you are
checking it at the right time. Camp Tesomas takes out of council units,
but it is almost filled for next year already.

Should you want to call, the Camp Tesomas phone is 715-369-1461. They
can give you the phone number for Akela's World, or, you can call Samoset
Council at 715-845-2195 in Wausau.

The first Cub week was last week, so they shoule be running for the next
few weeks.
