I finally found the information someone asked for regarding the BSA's Drug
Abuse prevention program (we call it a "program emphasis").
Here's the information from the BSA's fact sheet regarding the program:
WHAT: The Drugs: A Deadly Game campaign is a multimedia, multifaceted drug
education experience designed to stimulate discussion in small-group or
classroom settings. It is designed as a market-basket of easily digestible
facts that will get children talking -- and learning -- about the dangers of
drug use and abuse.
More than 15 million copies of Drugs: A Deadly Game brochures have been
distributed, making it the largest national anti-drug effort ever undertaken.
Launched in January, 1990, the second edition of Drugs: A Deadly Game speaks
to today's issues, such as the escalating crack epidemic, increased use of
inhaltants, and repopularization of steroids.
WHO: Drugs: A Deadly Game is intended for all youth, male and female,
whether or not they are involved in Scouting.
WHERE: Drugs: A Deadly Game has been distributed to each of the BSA's 339
local Councils and is ideal for use in classrooms across the country. The
program is also appropriate for drug rehabilitation centers, police
departments, corporations, religious instituations and youth groups.

directed to the External Communications Division, BSA at the National Office
address (you can contact Greg Bustin at 972-520-3555; since this fact
sheet's been printed, the area code has changed for Irving, and the number
above is the correct number with area code)
The materials include a 18-page brochure, a teacher's guide, a 16 minute
videotape, a 23x24" body chart (enlarged centerfold brochure) , a 8x2' three
color banner and 1x1.5" oval stickers, for $32.00
