Jon,
Scouts-L has been a source of strenght and ideas. Our last duty station
was in a very active district and council and while Spain has a lot to
offer, there's not a lot of other Scouts and Scouters around (at least
BSA-wise). We have only been on Scouts-L for a few months, but those few
months have re-connected us and fed our determination to share Scouting as
a way of life. For us, Scouting is a way to encourage young men in growing
to be responsible, caring individuals.
It is easy to feel lonely over here, but not with Scouts-L around!! We
have taken things off the web and shared them with the troop, and also with
those that I work with. Thank you SO much for making this all possible.
