Dear Jon -

A tip 'o the campaign hat to you - for your long hours, thick skin, saintly
patience, and love of Scouting.

They say imitation is a sincere form of flattery. From your inspiration and
the success of your list, at least three other lists - Jambo97, J97Scouts,
and Juliette - have been spawned.

We Scouters are a diverse and sometimes truculent lot. What brings us
together is a passion for our organization and a love for our youth. You've
built a community of us - no easy feat in this day and age.

There's many more exciting days ahead of us - thanks to you. But as this
one finishes... "softly falls the light of day, as our campfire fades away.
Silently each Scout should ask, 'Have I done my daily task?'..." you can
sleep gently knowing you've contributed to thousands of kids the world over.

Yours in Scouting,

...Doug Gentry
