SCOUTS-L - both the existence of the list, and the people - have been of
valuable service to me, to my son, to my unit, and to my fellow Scouts and
Scouters. When I needed help with the service I was trying to perform both
"working my ticket" and in day-to-day Scouting eforts, SCOUTS-L was there
and provided an incredible amount of positive and useful advice and
information. When my son looked to do his somewhat "different" Eagle
project, SCOUTS-L gave him an instant forum for the sharing of thoughts and
pespectives from around the USA and the world. When the need to inform
other Scouts, Scouters and units of problems, issues or interesting items
arises, SCOUTS-L proves its worth again and again.
I have had disagreements with SCOUTS-L - I was once on the "review this
guy's postings" list - but I have also felt the genuine affection of
SCOUTS-L and I hope I have returned it.
