Bill,
I agree and I did check it out with the medical staff at Philmont. In my
opinion, it is being blindly applied. Weight in relation to height is only
one factor which should be considered (blood pressure, general fitness,
age, etc.). The medical staff did not want to look at any other factors.
They did not have my assistant's med form and told me they did not need it.
They did not want to talk to his doctor. All they wanted to know is his
height and weight.

We are going through channels: medical staff to program director to high
adventure director. We are currently waiting for a response from Bill
Spice. Where do we go from here if the response is negative?
