Re: Eagle BORs: District vs Unit

Our district, Massabesic District in Daniel Webster Council, NH,
conducts Eagle BORs at the district level. Massabesic District covers
Manchester (pop ~90,000), Derry (33,000), Londonderry, Chester,
Hampstead, Hooksett, Goffstown, and maybe some others I don't know
about. I'd guess the total population of the covered area is somewhere
around 140,000.

The Eagle Board seems to do a fairly decent job getting to everyone.
They schedule both project approvals and Eagle BORs for the first
Wednesday of every month. When the caseload gets too heavy they might
ask a scout to wait until the 2nd month. But if there's a problem with
that 2 month wait, and I'd bet there usually is, they'll either schedule
an extra session or run simultaneous boards.
