Mike Walton said about Scouting Magazine:
>The reason why _Scouting_ is not published during the summer months, is
>because most if not all of the editorial staff is out at camp, conferences,
>and other summer events (Philmont and this year, the National Jamboree)
I suspect a July-August issue would be put to bed before summer, probably
about the end of May.
>and putting together items for the coming fall and spring's issues. This
>also gives the tired small staff time for summer vacations and personal
>career development time.
The more likely reason!
Besides, getting Scouting Magazine while we are away at camp means it's
further down in the pile and less likely to get read right away!! ;-)
