5 days until 18th Birthday.....Eagle?-UPDATE

Dear Fellow Scouters,
Just wanted to let you know that the scout was passed on Sunday(his
18th birthday) for his rank. Although I was asked on Thurs. to sit on the
BOR I had a prior commitment and was not able to go.
Last night at our Committee meeting when this came up on the agenda I
asked the CC where the scout was since I asked a couple of times to have him
come back to the committee and inform us of "what" his project was changed to
the CC said "I never told him to come". This scout had very poor planning
for his eagle project as well as no "plan B" in mind and due to the fact that
his project date was 36 days before his birthday ended up just "picking up
trash" in four community parks as well as build a sign for one of them
(without city approval first) it still is not for sure that this sign will
ever get approved by the city.
YIS,
Cindy
