FW: Eagle Scouts and the Army

Usually, when an Eagle Scout enters the military, as soon as he graduates
form Basic Training, he is becomes an E-2 (one stripe) or E-3 (two stripes).
Your Eagle is lucky...many recruiters do not announce this.

Mine didn't.

Question for the Scouts:

Is it true if you are an Eagle Scout and join the Army, when you get our ot
boot camp you are a grade 2 instead of grade 1? I know an Eagle Scout that
was told by a recuiter that beacuse he was an Eagle he was moved up one rank
for that.

Your responses are appreciated.
