BOOK: "History of Cub Scouting"

Greeting SCOUTS-L,
I saw a posting on SCOUTS-L on a book titled the "History of Cub Scouting,"
BSA No. 3849, ISBN 0-8395-3849-9.
I tried to order a copy of it from National BSA and found out they
no longer have it in their catalog or warehouse and that it
has been out of print for some time. You may be able to find
it in some scout supply stores or some council's trading post.
I found a copy of it through my local library and checked it out.
It was a great source of info on the past and brought memories of
me wearing that blue and gold beanie cap myself.
It was published in 1987. So the history stops at around this date,
or actually 1986, since the year (1987) was over when the book was
published. So we're missing between 10-11 years of documented Cub
Scout History.
If anyone has a copy of this book (new or used) that they'd
like to sell, Please let me know ? Because I'd like to buy it.
I hope this info adds to and helps anyone interested.
