Kirk is correct.
The SA's are in effect assigned by the Chartered Organization by
virtue of the Unit's Approval Authorities.
So, they will remain...
...until the new SM says otherwise. The SM SHOULD have (really my
opinion) the right to hand pick assistants consistent with the
sponsor's approval.
Now my Chartered Organization fired a Mate, and the Skipper (her
husband) resigned over it.
Just another day in Scouting History.
