WARNING!!!!!
Unedited and Unabridged Opinions follow!
1. I am appalled at those who would compare restrictions on
smoking to discrimination because of race, medical condition, etc.
Smoking is your choice. If you do not want to be discrimiinated against,
STOP.
2. I know all the arguments about your freedoms. But as the old
example goes, your freedom stops at the end of my nose. Whether it is
your fist or your second hand smoke, I have a right to be free of it. I
should not have to make accomodations, or go out of my way to avoid your
assault on my well being.
3. Even if you never come within 100 miles of me, you are
impinging on my freedom. You are taking my tax dollars to pay for your
health after you voluntarily chose to ruin it. I want my money back; I
would rather spend it on my children.
4. If I saw that you were about to step in front of a bus, I would
shout a warning, whether I knew you or not. Should I be silent when a
good friend chooses a longer, more painful death?
5. Yes, I am fully aware of my own deficiencies and imperfect
practices. And, I am working on them. The fact that they exist does not
excuse your actions, particularly in they violate BSA policy and rules.
With apologies to everyone whom I did not offend; I am sorry I took up
your time.
