Tom, here we have an individual who is claiming that he has received
much hate mail for his remarks. Then, Scouts-L is loaded with mai-coppas
(sp.), telling him not to leave. Knowing the risk that I am taking, I
wish to point out that "hate" is in the eyes of the beholder. Is it
"hate" to disagree with the messenger? Is it "hate" to hold judgement on
his claim until the facts are known? How many replys did he receive? How
many of those does it claim to be hate mail & why? It seems that there
is a rush on these days of people who do not hold the majority
view-point, to claim that they have received "hate" mail & "hate"
ttelephone calls. Until a little more information is forth-coming-I see
no reason why a person should not make a grand stand exit when leaving
Scout-L. Now, for what I am about to receive, may God have mercy on my
soul. I do not plan on leaving Scout-L.
