Some hikers like to borrow an idea from bikers and use a plastic water
bag with a tube that they can wear under a shirt, and when they need to
drink, simply use the tube as a "straw"; it holds a fair amount of fluid,
is flexible and comfortable to wear. Most bike shops have the bags.
