Grant is correct.
I had the good fortune to hear Lady B-P speak at the World Jamboree in
Idaho, and she made the point about the pronunciation quite clear in her
speech. She was a most remarkable and cherished person, and highly
reflective of the spirit of B-P and of the true essence of Scouting. The
Scouts were simply ecstatic and cheered her for what seemed like an
eternity in a most fitting and spectacular XII WSJ arena show..
