"Safari Slide " Flyers On Their Way

Dear SCOUTS-L Members,

I'd like to thank all of you that requested "Safari Slide"
information from "Scout King." I just mailed all the flyers
this morning, so you should be receiving them within a few days.

For those of you that missed the earlier posting to SCOUTS-L
and wonder what are "Safari Slides"?

They are a NEW Product Line of 12 different neckerchief slides
which are intended to be worn with a standard issue Scout
Neckerchief. Safari Slides are, Highly Detailed, 3-D Animal Heads,
that are molded of durable, rubber, with a pivoting D-Ring back.
The combination of our pivoting ring and the rubber help prevent
them from slipping down and falling off of a standard issue Scout
Neckerchief during Scouting activities. You can Collect them,
Trade them, and Wear them as a Slide-Of-The-Month! We've used
them as special awards, and Den and Patrol emblems too! Here is a
list of the animals we currently offer:

BABOON BEAR
CAMEL CHEETAH
CHIMP COUGAR
GIRAFFE GORILLA
LION LIONESS
RHINO WARTHOG

All of our slides are READY-TO-WEAR, have molded-in-color and
have hand painted and airbrushed details added. Safari Slides
are not currently available in stores. We sell them in person,
at Scouting events and training sessions and by Mail-Order.
