You may also want to consider using 3M Scotchlite reflective material.
This gives an added element of safety at night and shows up the logo in
reflected light from headlights. Scotchlite can be silk-screen printed
with the appropriate inks designed for the 3M material. It is available
in a variety of colors, so if you want to just do cuts from various colors
of scotchlite, you can reduce the costs for screen printing. Die-cut
letters are also available in Scotchlite. Most sign or decal shops have
these items and they are relatively inexpensive, although they will run
more than vinyl. Different grades of Scotchlite are available, as are
different reflectivities, so you may need to research that with the sign
shop or contact 3M directly. I believe they have a web page for
information on their products.
