George,
Cindy asked for our help. There has been much criticism, but
polite, civil, andfair, about her post. This forum is a safe one, where
scouters can ask for help, and even admit not knowing everything. Your
sarcastic tone and name calling is not constructive and certainly not
welcome. Please leave that attitude on the newsgroups, where rudeness
rules. If you have been a member of this list for any period of time you
know that there are far more Scouters interested in doing it "the Scouting
Way" than taking shortcuts. Maybe if you are that stressed out it is a
good thing that you will be "out " after grandson #2 makes eagle. I hope
that you exhibit more Tolerance to *them* than you did to Cindy. Reread
your post with a clear head and through the eyes of someone that you have
never met...good luck with your future choices. I hope that scouting will
be one of those choices once you have de-stressed a little.
.
Peace
YIS
Lorie McGraw
PS: My $.02 is that Cindy should not be upset, but preach Patience, another
scouting virtue. Good luck, Cindy. No one said it would be easy every day.
