The best troops in the Baltimore Area Council have Wood Badge
trained leaders. The Boy Scout Leader Wood Badge program
hosted is the premier training program available for
Boy Scout leaders. This course will give you the tools
to develop better junior leaders and to guide them in
providing the best possible program for the Scouts in your
Troop. By applying the skills taught at Wood Badge, you will
be able to give your Scouts the adventure, excitement, and growth
opportunities that brought them into Scouting.
This year's course for the Wood Badge, NE IV-93, will
take place over three weekends in the Fall at Camp Oest,
Broad Creek Memorial Scout Reservation near Dublin, Maryland.
There will be an important pre-course Orientation on the
evening of August 21 at the Baltimore Area Council
headquarters building (701 Wyman Park Drive, Baltimore).
The three weekends of the course are September 20-21,
October 3-5, and October 17-19.
For additinal information, contact NE IV-93 Course Director
