This past weekend we had a District Camporee. One of the events was a
Dutch Oven Desert competion. One of our Patrols were disqualified, the
judges said "this cake looks to good" they said that it had to be store
bought and could not have been done in a dutch oven. Out Scoutmaster and
myself were not present the ASM in charge decided not to persue this at
the time. Our Troop cooks in dutch ovens all the time! This Patrol spent
about 3.5 hours preparing this desert and there reward was to be accused
of cheating! Our SM and myself feel this matter should be persued, any
seggustions?
