Allen Farrand asked;
<Are you in scouting for yourself,or the boys?
Whom recieves the greater reward for your participation, you or the
boys?
Do you lead, teach or interact with the boys first, for their benefit,
yours second?
When awards are presented, are you happy for the boys, or do you wish
you got one?>
Great questions! I think that for myself, I would hope that the boys
gain the greater benefit from our interaction with scouting. To be
honest one of the reasons that I am in scouting is that I get a solid
excuse to go camping once a month (at least) with some of the finest
youngsters and adults that can be found in this or any other land.
