The part of this that hasn't received enough attention as I see it is
how the SM should deal with those boys that are not elected. Before,
they could console themselves in the fact that there were just others
better than them. Now, the cruel truth is that they were not elected
because the other troop members either didn't like them or didn't feel
they were good scouts. This has the potential to really hurt a boy and
turn them off on the whole "OA thing".
How have others on the list dealt with this (or has it even been a
problem)?
