Dick,

The best source for finding out about any awards offered by the American
Legion is:

American Legion
National Headquarters
P.O. Box 1055
Indianapolis, Indiana 46206

As a side note: The American Legion Life Insurance Trust Fund provides
annually for an $8,000 scholarship to be awarded over a 4-year period
to the Eagle Scout selected as "The American Legion Scout of the
Year." Three additional scholarships of $2,00 are also awarded.
Eligibility requirements and nomination applications can be obtained
from

National Americanism Commission
The American Legion
P.O. Box 1055
Indianapolis, Indiana 46206
