Thank You Digest....and a question?

I just want to thank all who helped me find the newsgroups I needed, and
set this to digest form. I had no idea AOL had their own area for scouting. I
am not that much of a newbie.....I just haven't had the time to search
around.

Now for my question, ( good thing I didn't leave).....our troop is
in need of some shelving and/or building materials (i.e. plywood, 2x4's) to
organize our equip-
ment room in the basement of our church. I was thinking of asking local
supply stores to donate some or all of the materials.
Does anyone have experience with this?? I.E, how to ask and any BSA
regu-
lations about asking??
