Blue & Gold

As the former Cubmaster of Pack 92, Milpitas,Ca. I find that this years Blue & Gold banquet was made into a great memory for the Cubs and their families thanks to the Order of The Arrow. The Miwok Lodge 439 was in outstanding forrm helping Cub Scouts wit
h their function; The Lodge Chief Brian Bonds was in attendance , mainly to not only watch Ceremonies Chairman Tommy Keswick , over come a broken bow string durring a WEBELOS Arrow of Light Ceremony ! Tommy over came this by his own quick thinking!! Even
David O'Dell The Former Ceremonies Chairman, who himself had played Chief Akela last year, didn't have to suffer a broken bow string !! ...This in itself would be a lasting memory in the minds of the Cub Scout families , if it were not for the fact Tha
t the Lodge Dance Team had performed durring the meal!

John Pozniak, the Chairman of the Miwok Lodge Indian Dance Committee; was able with the dace team, to make over 40 cub scouts and their families be Quite while they were eating ! This will be a life long experience, that all will remember for the rest
of their lives. The amount of GoodWill and brotherhood extended to the younger members of the scouting family by the older more experieced Order of The Arrow members , is not only an ideal, but they have shown many the ways of brotherhood!!!

Thank You all for giving us a scouting experience that we will always remember, and hold it dear to our hearts!
