Dear Scouts:

In July 1996 in the World Moot in Sweden I meet MIKE CHIKALANGA, one
scout leader from Zambia (Africa) that the friendship project paid his
participation in the moot.
In his last letter he wrote me :

Dear Carlos:
Thank you for your card. Iwas so happy I hope you have now settled down
after those good days at the moot......
As you might have read at the moot in the magazzine(spirit) I am really
finding difficulties in organising my scout due to poor equipment and
lack of support from the people, it's not easy to run a scout group in
Zambia because people seem not to have interest, but the boys are
interested. So all I need is support in terms of funding, scout
equipment, tents, uniforms and other, I dont want something new it cam
be second hand material. So I'd like you to come in with other SCOUTS
who can help to try and find ways of helping us....

Use this address for any kind of equipment you may wish to send my scout:

MIKE CHIKALANGA. C/ MISS ROSE NG'ANDU. MONZE DIST COUNCIL. PO BOX 660149 MONZE-ZAMBIA

If you can't manage to send these thing you can try and send money so that we try and get them from here, then I can send photoes of all thing we can buy so that you know that the money is used in right way. use this address and account nro:

ZAMBIA NATIONAL COMMERCIAL BANK. MONZE BRANCH. BOX 660296. MONZE-ZAMBIA. Account nro 1570347345201

Let me, have and answer from you soom. Your friend. MIKE CHIKALANGA ------------------------------------------------------------------------

---

If any of you or your scout group can help Mike, I'll be really happy. This is the real scout world.
