Here is a bit of trivia and another request for information. I hope someone
on our list can help this proud Scout.

Randy,
My name is Michael Dennis Shannon. I am Eagle Scout and my father was
Patrick Douglas Shannon. He was picked from 2,300 boys in 1936 to stand for
the making of the Boy Scouts Statue made by R. Tait McKenzie! That is
the statue that will always stand for the Boy Scouts from 1937 to this
day.
I am very proud of my father and so is his grandson who is now a Bear.
I was hoping to find out more on where I may find one of the only six
mini-statues that where given out by Mr.Mckenzie in 1937. My father's
copy was stolen in 1960. Is there any one that you know who I can find
out more information about the remaining copies?
Please E-Mail me back at .... logicone@usa.net
Thank you for your time.....
M.D.Shannon
