Seeking Information: Greg Whitaker of Carthage,

Andrew Hagemann (hagemann@VISI.NET)
Fri, 31 Jan 1997 20:01:38 -0500

I've been asked by a coworker to help locate information about Greg
Whitaker, a high school buddy who hailed from Carthage, NC. If any of
you know where my friend can obtain a Scouting history or a local
newspaper account of Greg's too-short adult Scouting life, please send
an e-mail reply directly to the address listed below.

Please don't send your reply to me as I may miss it with all the
messages I'm receiving from SCOUTS-L and JAMBO97.

Who: Greg Whitaker, 37 (deceased)
What: A Silver Beaver recipient in the Raleigh, NC area
Why: My coworker lived in California at the time and was unable
to say goodbye before Greg died. A keepsake biography as well
as an understanding of the significance of his Silver Beaver
award is desired.
Where: Raleigh, NC area (Greg died in a Raleigh hospital)
When: Greg died March 1996
How: Lukiemia (I think)

Please reply to: kapers@earthlink.com

YiS,
Drew
