Scout Sunday Response

Thanks to everyone who responded to my recent query for ideas on Scout
Sunday. I receive over 31 responses and some people are doing some wonderful
things. I had never looked at Scout Sunday as a way to thank our Chartering
Organization for their support as so many of you seem to be doing.

This year we are simply going as a group, sitting together, ushering, and
hosting the fellowship period after the service. However, we are already
talking to the minister about next year.

We are also working on a Scout Sunday patch. Our present thought is to have
a round patch with segments to go around it designating the year of
attendance (1997, 1998, etc.). We think it might encourage attendance.
