Child Abuse

I received a message from Drew Mrenna questioning whether
you had to have permission to show the child abuse films
to our youth. Before I showed the film at JLT National was
contacted. I was also under the impression that you had to
have permission to show the film, but I was told by National
that permission was not needed.
In my own Troop, I send out a letter to parents inviting them
to come to the showing. I have never had a problem with a
parent not letting their sons see it. Please, all of you SM's out
there, show the films as soon as possible. It is a worth while
effort on your part.
