Scouts who are registered in their "home troops" in BSA may multiple
register in the troop at or near the boarding school, or if not currently
registered in a unit at their home may primarily register in the local
unit.
International students who wish to register in the local troop/unit may
do so also as long as they are at that school, or otherwise living in the
U.S., and may earn advancement just as any U.S. Scout does.
We had a Scout from Australia whose father was on a sabbatical in the U.S.
for six months, and joined our Explorer Post while he was here in the
States. He participated in Post activities as long as he was here.
