I have one of my Assistant Scoutmasters do the conferences with my sons.
One of the intents is to find out how they feel about the troop program.
I prefer that they communicate that with someone with whom they can
perhaps be a little more candid.
Besides, as teenagers they really don't want to have to talk to Dad
anymore than is necessary.
