I don't think there is an official Scout Prayer; however I would like to
share one which is non-denominational that was written by one of our
former Scoutmasters for our Troop that we particularly like.
"Our Father in Heaven, you are the Master of every Scout; the Scout Oath
and Law, by which we live, are like your Commandments. May our service to
others reflect our love for you; and let our appreciation of the great
outdoors be our thanks."
Written by Joe Hibl, Troop 72 Former Scoutmaster, Boulder, CO
We also have one of our former Scoutmasters sing a wonderful tenor
rendition of "On My Honor" on Scout Sunday, and often quite a few folks in
the congregation are a little "teary eyed" during that performance.
