BASE64 and HTML in e-mail messages

Just a friendly reminder for this and other e-mail lists (listserv,
majrdomo, etc.)

PLEASE set your mailer to NOT attach BASE64 or HTML code versins of your
messages. Also DO NOT copy the entire message you are responding to.
Edit it to the bare essentials.

If you are using EXCHANGE client or MSMail, you may be sending BASE64
and not know it.

BASE64 code shows up on many e-mail readers as screens full of binary
data that is completely unreadable. (see below)

Below is part of a recent post as an example of HTML that is worthless
in an e-mail message. Jim, I don't mean to pick on you, yours was just
the most recent I read.
