I didn't like being told to "strip my uniform" for Woodbadge and I strongly
objected. I'd EARNED all I wore or it represented my connections to groups
that I value. I understand why we want to build a bond to our WB Troop and
Patrol and I now value that connection. WB was a life changing event for me
and for many other participants. But, it doesn't take away from my own
Scout career milestones (Knots) or my connection to my own Troop (numbers)
or Lodge (flap).
I'd like to suggest that the Gillwill Troop 1 be put on a temporary arm
band for the length of the course.

Jason-
I'd suggest you learn to sew. I do all my patches. I even did the hem in my
own pants. That experience taught me that God made a seemstress at our dry
cleaners if I ever need another hem in a pair of pants. 8-]
