Re: Scout Problems

Like most Scouters I don't wish to see any boy leave Scouting, either by
dropping out or being thrown out. I will try to keep and retain the
problem Scout as long as he is not causing my other Scouts to drop out.
We recently lost several first year Scouts because one older problem
Scout was picking on them when the adults weren't looking. Sometimes as
Spock said, "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or the
one." By all means we should do everything in our power to help Scouts
with problems, but not at the expense of the other Scouts.

YIS,

Dave
